Today’s Mutant of the day is Jean-Paul Beaubier A.K.A Northstar! First Appearance: X-Men #120 (January 1979) Created by: Chris Claremont & John Byrne Powers: Northstar can propel his body at super speed, & shoot light blasts when in contact with his sister Aurora!

All that said, maybe this lineup will make perfect sense when I read it. I'm curious as to what the universe will look like at the end of this event, and whether it will be permanent moving forward.

Not the biggest fan of this "New Defenders" lineup (on paper). Carol could (literally) carry the whole team. A bunch of brawlers, & 1 cosmic, planet destroyer feels odd. Plus, everyone's an all-star. Would've liked at least 1 relative unknown that could actually use the exposure

Okay I guess I owe you a little more transparency. This has been a big month, unfortunately for medical situations for my family and myself. As you know, my family had a medical emergency a few weeks ago, which required me to stay in the hospital with a relative for several days. Then I myself had my own procedure late last week. Thankfully, everything went fine, but I had a follow up yesterday and the recovery is more difficult than I expected. I am fine do not worry about me, but unfortunately, it has impacted my work schedule. I am hoping to get back to normal next week.
