How is there not an investigation into who placed a rock with the word Albert on it, on the lawn of 34 Fairview Road, the night before the jury viewed the property? This is the most blatant attempt at jury tampering I've ever seen, and the Judge just doesn't seem to think it's a big deal.

Here is Prosecutor Hank Brennan's full opening statement from the opening day of the John O'Keefe and Karen Read re-trial. Brennan, without notes, relayed every fact of the fact to the jury --from Karen's drunk driving, and backing her car into John at 12:32am on 1/29/22, to John's phone proving he never left that spot on the lawn until his death, induced by the cold and a head injury from hitting the hard ground after the collision with Karen's car, to the breakdown in Karen's relationship, to a video of Karen's own remarks from a TV interview about how, at 12:32am, Karen didn't think John was "mortally" wounded. It was one of the greatest, well delivered, openings I have ever seen. Brennan then closed by explaining each charge of the indictment against Karen, from second degree malice murder, and how that charge does not require intent to kill but instead only intent to do an underlying reckless act that a reasonable person knew, or should have known, would bring with it a plain and strong likelihood of death, to involuntary manslaughter while OUI as to Karen's BAC being between 0.13 and 0.29 at the time of the crash, to the charge of Karen leaving the scene of John's death, it was a masterclass to watch in full. Further, Brennan previewed evidence showing John's pancreas confirmed the cold induced hypothermia which, combined with the head injury, ended John's noble life of service to his family, his community and his profession. Brennan's opening clocked at 38:01 (well below the 45 minute limit).
