ＦＲＩＤΛＹ ＤΞＶＬＯＧ ＃７ It's Friday again, which means it's time for more updates from the @OfficialDgpals Narrative Team! First of all, for those of you who recall Devlog #2, we mentioned that we were working on Chapter 19's storyboard. And voilà! Now you get to watch the full animation (SOUND ON)! 🥳 As you can see, the final product took nearly a whole month to produce and that's because there were a lot of moving pieces involved: from writing the lore, to conceptualising the storyboard with the Art Team (who are simply AMAZING 🥰), to sketches, to colour drafts, to animation, to selecting background music, to final edits and then rendering out the whole chapter. All that...on top of the many other projects and deadlines each individual working on this has. As such, the Narrative Team would like to thank everyone who helped breathe life into this little chapter. We know how much time and effort went into it, and we couldn't be more grateful! 🫶 And here are some other updates: ~ Completed storyboard for Chapter 20 and sent it off to the Art Team ~ Started on storyboards that will feature various key NPCs in Plaza ~ Worked with Merge Defence Game Designer to clarify and edit current descriptions of DGPal abilities (these will be updated in-game at a later date) ~ Further discussed an upcoming community event with various departments, and just as a teaser: + No, it's not Hoppy Hour. + You'll have to use your wit and creative powers. + There'll be a small surprise in the Arena of Legends. + There'll definitely be prizes to be won!
