@CarmichaelDave Philon, Flemings, and Wagler> Though either being our top pick would be disappointing

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Indiana’s offense was built on RPO and quick passes. It developed throughout the season and incorporated more concepts, especially mesh, double slant, curl concepts, etc Alabama offense was built fully around pro style concepts and never adapted. That’s my only point here

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum I never said they didn’t run mesh, you inferred that to back up your point They fucked Alabama with mesh and mesh sit concepts the entire game and it was likely one of their most run concepts down the stretch Indiana ran pro concepts, just not at the rate Alabama did

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Also, I’d agree with you that Alabama’s offense wasn’t simple, it was the opposite It asked the QB to fully read the field from left to right and asked too much from Ty imo and that hurt Bama and Ty Indiana ran a genius hybrid offense and it worked to perfection

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum It’s simply the concepts. You could even argue Mendoza was better when he ran pro concepts than Ty and I wouldn’t fully disagree on it Alabama entire offense were these pro concepts, and it was too their detriment at times Indiana was more hybrid, tho obv they had pro concepts

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum I’d actually love to see that and will admit I’m fully wrong if proven that way I saw Sarratt and Cooper dominate teams with double slants like it was nothing, incredible duo and you can’t pick one to shade Got teams to shade inside then Coop would hit a quick out and be gone

@LoveTheseMets @adambeanlin @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Let’s take this at face value and say Mendoza ran a 1:1 pro offense half the season. Alabama ran a pro offense the entire season. So who had more time with pro concepts? What was my original point? Again, less pro style concepts ≠ inability to run them

@LoveTheseMets @adambeanlin @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum I’ve also never said Mendoza can’t run these, just that he didn’t at as high of a rate as Ty 😭😭 This legitimately is not a knock on Mendoza AT ALL, it’s just the truth. Josh Allen, Mahomes, Jordan Love, Bo Nix, etc ALL had to adjust to more pro style offenses, it’s not “bad”

@LoveTheseMets @adambeanlin @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Brother, watch the first Oregon game then watch the 2nd one and tell me what’s different Indiana ran mesh and mesh sit HEAVY post week 8 (as I said), and started incorporating double curls, double slants, dagger etc and it worked very well for them

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Prove yourself right, if you have the data, and I don’t, it’s a slam dunk for you. There is no data on this shit, you want me to link you every games film? Truly what are you asking for You don’t believe professionals so idk what I’m supposed to be supplying you with

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Considering that there is not robust data on every single concept an offense runs, it’d be hard for either of us to find the data I’m talking about what I saw, as well as just abt every draft analyst Yall acting like I said this mf can’t do anything 😭😭

@TideTerminator @adambeanlin @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum “Alabama ran pro style concepts like mesh, dig, spot, dagger, switch, etc at a high rate. Those concepts are what the offense was built around Indiana’s was not” Direct quote from you big fella

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum So professional companies who get paid to do evals = narrative but 16 follower burner =ball knower? Heard Indiana ran heavy timing based concepts, things like digs, comebacks, curls, quick outs, slants, etc Absolutely nothing wrong with that, just not as many layer pro concepts

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum Mendoza is the better prospect and I’ve never said otherwise; I truly don’t know what you’re even arguing at this point And data to back up what? The fact that I can watch both teams and see common concepts with my eyes? And that’s been backed up by every NFL draft website?

@LoveTheseMets @adambeanlin @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum No, there is just no point in having this conversation Pro style offense is not just “under center vs shotgun”. Alabama ran pro style concepts like mesh, dig, spot, dagger, switch, etc at a high rate. Those concepts are what the offense was built around Indiana’s was not

@adambeanlin @LoveTheseMets @kembageorge @RealTannenbaum So you would say a Mike Leach style offense is the exact same as a UGA & Bama O in terms of preparing you for the NFL? And I mean pro style concepts like mesh, dig, smash, switch, spot, etc Those are core concepts in ANY NFL offenses and some teams run them more than others
