Chuck Colson was one of President Nixon’s inner circle, embroiled in Watergate, imprisoned as a result. He became a Christian and gave the rest of his life to gospel witness in prison (I worked for that ministry for several years myself). This is my favourite Colson quote.

The tomb is empty because the grave could not hold Him. Death no longer has its sting. He died that we might live, what a sacrifice. The Lord is risen, He is risen indeed! Hallelujah. Death is beaten, Jesus is alive! Happy Easter everyone

One unfortunate consequence of my April Fool's joke earlier is that my feeds are now full of adverts for the Green Party. So, if you see me posting more than usual about the Conservatives, you'll know why - I am, and always have been, a faithful Tory.

Well, it's official. Today's the day I left the Conservatives and joined the Green Party. I took online political spectrum test & turns out that after all these years I'm not a Tory after all but align most with the Greens so I'm looking fwd to partying with Zack sometime soon!

Good day today in London, chairing a meeting of the Daylight Christian Prison Trust board. These days always leave my heart full, and today was no exception. Encouraging to hear what the Lord is doing and to plan for the future.

This morning involved massages in the spa and this afternoon a trip to a gluten and dairy free cafe which always makes Beth happy. Good for the body and good for the belly.

Well the cricket went well, the rugby not so much. I expected a wounded Scotland to come out fighting but this is insane. Looks like Scotland will make it 1-1 today.

At same time it’s also emotional for us as often it’s like watching our own life playing out. It superbly but sensitively (and humorously) portrays challenges autistic people face every day, especially around misunderstanding conversations, banter & other social interactions.

On a friend’s recommendation we’ve recently begun watching C4’s Patience - about an autistic evidence analyst working with York police. The title character is played by an autistic actress and the whole show is simply superb.
