I’m glad I grew up during the Zyzz era of male influencer, rather than the Andrew Tate era. I could see a teenage version of myself falling for the MGTOW manosphere bullshit hook, line, and sinker. Zyzz taught us that you need to become aesthetic af. Work on yourself. You cannot be attractive if you continue to look and act unattractive. The MGTOW influencers teach young men to blame feminism, zionists, Great Replacement ideology pushers, and Human Resources Departments for why relationships are harder to come by. Why the change? Because ragebait spreads faster than good advice. Your likes, comments, and shares on AlphaDaddy’s TikTok video of women rejecting being approached at a bar pushes his power and influence so he can get paid. Market pretty flat, $TSLA gaining a bit on the news of SF taxi offering this weekend. Meme stocks are on a cooler with $OPEN -4.5% and $DNUT -3% I guess no one is opening their mouths for DNuts.

@kamikazecash There's a reason something has high premium. But I don't think it's a wrong move on your part per se, I've made similar mistakes, as long as your timeframe is long and you're okay with locking up the capital, betting on the biggest insurance company in the USA is not a bad idea.

I’m not really feeling $UNH anymore. I bought at $320 because the premiums were high and I thought I could sell wheel options for an absurd return. But I rationalized myself by saying “it’s a good price right now- even FinTwit is saying so.” I make my worst trades when I’m yield chasing but lie to myself about why I’m buying shares. I went from “I can sell options and collect high premium” to “this is a good long-term hold” as soon as my position went underwater. This is classic rationalizing of a bad investment. I’m planning to sell an ITM covered call to take a little premium on the way out with expectation that I’ll be assigned. Total loss will be around $3,200. I’ll add the remaining value to AMZN, which is actually a good company to hold.
