I like Peak (and the devs) but I don't think it's healthy to encourage indie devs to chase trends and pump out games "before the fad dies". Too many people already see game dev as a get rich quick scheme. Indie devs should be encouraged to make stuff that they like.

@RealTurniplord for PS Premium yearly. That over the long run is more expensive than owning a PS5 and buying games. PS Premium tier is mostly just for the most hardcore and engaged PS customers, at least from what I have seen. Half of my fanbase does not even pay for essential anymore.

@RealTurniplord Man energy prices sound wild over there. I barely pay more total for my year than your yearly savings. Yea I think the portal sales are around 4 or 5 million, but I would guess that 95% of those owners own a PS5. I don't really know of anyone who buys a Portal just to pay (1/2)

Hey @triomatica - I see that Boxville on PS5 is stream enabled, so we can play it on the PS5 and the Portal, but Boxville 2 isn't... Could you possibly enable streaming on the sequel so we can stream the game without using the console? I believe you just have to enable it Thx!

@RealTurniplord Customers with only a portal is at this point an extremely small fraction, if any at all. But it sounds like you would be a good candidate for low power mode on PS5 and the PS6 handheld lol.

@TreeFallGames Uses less than 10kw/h if it's plugged in and being used at the same time So, it saves me a lot in terms of electricity - as I spend a long time gaming, over 3500 hours last year In general though, it also means you have lots of potential new customers who only have a portal

@TreeFallGames Ah, thought you had asked, as the other developer did and they were told Sony picks the games that are enabled - but Boxville 2 was enabled when asked :) I use my Portal for all non-pro games that are supported because the PS5 with the TV uses around 250-300kw/h, yet the Portal

@RealTurniplord @triomatica @Pinkerator I never said that, that was my assumption it was automatic. I will look into it and see if I can turn on the streaming capabilities on the older games. Out of just curiosity, why are you streaming games when you have the PS5? Or is it more of a travel thing when you are away?

@triomatica Thank you :) I'm glad you were able to turn on streaming - @Pinkerator and @TreeFallGames were apparently told by their reps that they can't enable it and it's up to Sony which games are made streamable I feel not all Sony/PS reps know the same things!!

@RealTurniplord @eastasiasoft @RatalaikaGames @Pinkerator oh yes. Everything is remote play on Portal via the console. As far as the cloud, idk what the requirements are for that. I think Sony opts the games in or out now. I think newer games are automatically set up that way, and some of the older titles, not sure.
