A more immediate fix is to disable service workers entirely: 1. Open iOS's settings 2. Safari 3. Advanced 4. Experimental Features 5. Find and disable "Service Workers" From here you can load Eclipse, export your backup, re-add Eclipse to the home screen, and import your backup.

Release 2.2.12 Just adds back offline support(!) If you disabled Service Workers offline mode will not work. Transfer your data to a new Home Screen icon via the export/import system in Eclipse’s settings, if you haven’t already before re-enabling it.

@EthanDegrandpre Actually let me rephrase that: after adding to the Home Screen again, import the backup in the newly added icon instead of the old one.

@EthanDegrandpre And once you do that you can use these to export your backup. Once you export, add eclipse to the Home Screen again and import the backup in the same spot. Once you do that and your data is loaded, you can delete the old icon and re-enable “Service Workers”.

Offline support is temporarily disabled so that users facing this might be able to actually load into Eclipse. If this doesn't fix it, please wait a bit and it may fix itself. I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience for people facing this issue.

@TryEclipse Hey I’m having a problem with the skin not changing in this new update, it’s also changed the design of the controls. Is there a way I can change this? I emulate on iPhone and I’m on the newest software update

Ok pushed a quicker v2.2.7 bug fix update (v2.2.6 was just a version bump): - GB(C) emulation was very slow. Switched back to the old frame timing. - Safari toolbar cutting off buttons. - Featured skins' URLs were incorrect. - File picker graying out ROM files.

@Bob86795218 Eclipse is actually going to be changing skin formats in v3, but Delta uses pdfs for skins (for whatever reason), which aren’t easy to parse on the web. The format will be a lot better for designers though.

Also, it *must* say "Service Workers" exactly, or whatever the equivalent would be for your language if it gets localized. "Service Worker Navigational Preload" is not the same thing.

Each Eclipse you add to your home screen has different data, including Safari. So, for example, exporting a backup from Safari, when you were playing games in a home screen icon, will not export the data from the home screen icon.

Released v2.2.8: - Introduces a new setting that lets you toggle between needing the ringer or not for game audio. This lets you watch a video or listen to music while playing a game. - Reorganizes Settings slightly. - Adds icons to the game menu items.

Just want to reiterate: Eclipse updates are automatic. You do not need to add Eclipse to your home screen again. Your data does not sync between multiple home screen icons or Safari (or whatever browser you may use on iOS).

Just to get a sense of the damage, how many people are having issues loading Eclipse because of the "redirections" or "Load Failed" error? And for those who answer that you did, what iOS version/device are you on?
