It is my honor to share my current foster: Bobby. I saw him on a short list for euthanasia after he was surrendered for “a snake bite on his paw”. He may be the actual love of my life. This is our first pic together riding home for the first time. He sits on his booty because his front legs are painful to stand on, not because of a snake bite, but he was shot with a BB gun by his owners and never cared for. Despite all that he’s the world’s cutest boy and the sweetest face in Dallas. He looks like he’s about to order his own pup cup 😂🥹😭 post your pups and their silly poses!

We were about to foster Austin when he suddenly stopped, sat down, and cried toward the kennel. Inside was his sister, Denver—injured, ignored, and left behind. They had been separated due to space, but Austin refused to leave without her. When they saw each other, they rushed to the fence, licking and comforting one another. In that moment, we knew—we couldn’t take one and leave the other. So we chose both. ❤️

I can’t stop watching this. You can literally see the exact second this poor dog realizes he’s safe. He’s shaking, covered in scars and stitches, and instead of pulling away, he just leans into her like he’s been waiting his whole life for someone to show him what kindness feels like. That little head tuck into her shoulder broke me. That’s not just a dog. That’s a soul learning what love is. Whoever this vet tech is, you’re a hero. This is what humanity should look like. ❤️
