I don't want to be rich. I want to take my kids to the dentist without checking my account first. I want to say yes when my friend asks if I want to grab dinner. I want to replace my car's brakes before they become a prayer. Somewhere between "rich" and "broke" there used to be a place called "fine" It's gone now.

Brainwashed people get mad when someone is not brainwashed. They love talking about sports, celebrities, the news and TV shows but whenever you bring up a real life topic like vaccines or fluoride they turn into angry robots. This is because they have been programmed to distract themselves with fake things so that they never reach their full potential in life. They’re incapable of thinking for themselves and all of their thoughts come from external entertainment and media. When you tell them that the food is being poisoned they get mad as if they want the food to be poisoned. When you tell them that fluoride is a waste product or aluminium manufacturing they get mad as if they want to drink it. They get subconsciously mad that you can think outside of the box and they can’t. There’s really no reason to try to help these people wake up. The only way they can wake up is by themselves. Trying to wake up a brainwashed person is a waste of time 99% of the time.

@smarick In ten years? It has already happened. I haven't seen a millennial read a book in 20 years. They barely look up from their phones. Ever. They sit in a group, each one glued to his phone.

In 10 years, we'll realize young adults can't read, write, or think as well as they should. We'll wonder how we allowed students to offload huge chunks of their learning to AI. Today we're just watching it happen. This is the most obvious unforced error of our time.

"Vaya… No esperaba ver nada por el estilo"... Profesor Mike Nagel, neurocientífico y padre.

8. Very early breakfast "Give your body time for autophagy." 👉 First meal between 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. This way the body cleanses and regenerates itself.

Fewer than half of US adults read a book last year. Even fewer read an actual novel, and the trend is looking worse still for teenagers. Why is nobody talking about this??

A 5-year-old asks 107 questions per hour. By 5th grade: 0.48 questions per hour. The school system doesn't fail kids on math. It fails them on curiosity. And curiosity is the one skill AI can't replace.

🧵My Latest: We’ve been told for decades that kids are “resilient” after divorce. A new study tracking millions of children suggests something very different. The real effects don’t show up when you think they do. And by the time they do… it’s too late.

On the Greek island of Syros, animal lovers can live for free in exchange for caring for the island’s many stray cats. The nonprofit organization Syros Cats runs a popular volunteer program that offers free accommodation, utilities, and sometimes meals. In return, volunteers help care for the island’s estimated 3,000 stray cats by feeding them, cleaning shelters, socializing the animals, and assisting with sterilization and veterinary care. Volunteers typically stay in a shared house near the Aegean Sea, with private bedrooms, and commit several hours a day to cat care. The rest of their time is free to explore the charming capital of Ermoupoli, beautiful beaches, and picturesque villages. This unique program has become a dream opportunity for cat enthusiasts around the world, allowing them to enjoy authentic Greek island life while making a real difference for the local feline population.

Intermittent fasting is not about eating less food. It’s about eating less often, giving your body time to reset and recover between meals. Dr. Eric Berg, DC, not MD; information only

I grew up in Johannesburg eating margarine, white bread, and cereal. I was told this was healthy. 500 miles from my house, the San Bushmen of the Kalahari had been eating wild game, roots, and berries for thousands of years. I had a heart attack at 52. They had zero heart disease. Zero diabetes. Zero Alzheimer's. Same continent. Same century. Same species. Different food. Different outcome.

What children see at home shapes them more than anything they’re told. For boys especially, one of the strongest predictors of future success is watching their father love their mother. Not hearing about values, but seeing them lived out.
