This new video from Gaza captures a hauntingly heartbreaking moment: a young girl sleeping inside the wreckage of an overturned car. She’s nestled in the shell of the abandoned vehicle. She rests against one of the seats, with a piece of cardboard placed on the ceiling she or someone else put before.
It’s likely she’s seeking refuge from the searing heat inside her family’s tent.
Through the car’s broken frame, a man on crutches is visible in the background. This video speaks volumes.
