Victory Lap Racing Designs

First scheme of 2024 to hit the race track - and the biggest one for me personally. This is Victor Barrales Jr.'s ride from the King Taco "La Batalla en El Coliseo" two weeks ago. Another HUGE thank you to ANVI for letting me freelance for them. Hopefully more to come in 2024!

Today, we remember and honour all the service men and women who courageously who put their lives on the line and gave everything to defend our values and freedoms.

This was the photo I was working with that I took, and a screencap of the anchor points. It was a lot of work, a bigger undertaking than I expected but it's been very well worth it.

New personal paint scheme for the USORL Cup Series - this one being based off of @LutonTown's green alternate kit made by @refloofficial. The shirt is "inspired by the leaves of the trees that the streets around Kenilworth Road are named after - the Ivy, Beech, Ash and Oak Roads." Upon seeing the reveal of the kit, I knew that I wanted to run this as a paint scheme, though I wasn't sure how I'd accomplish that. I ordered the shirt, and took a top-down photo of it and loaded it into Adobe Illustrator. Over the last month, I probably put in about 40 hours into re-tracing the intricacy of the leaves and reconstructing their pattern. It's not perfect by any means but it turned out so, so good in the sim, and the spec map just makes it pop just that little bit more.

(European) Football 🤝 Racing. For tonight's @USORL_iRacing Cup Series race at Michigan. Football season has arrived in England once again, my favourite team, Luton Town, starts the season off tomorrow, the opening game out of the top 4 tiers. based off the new 2025/26 home kit.

@koop_designs05 @CoreyLaJoie Koop, I'm a big fan of yours - but saying this on your official designing account (while employed by a proper NASCAR team) makes you look bad, and will cost you future opportunities. I'd rethink this post, and how you post in the future, before you ruin your reputation even more.

@tradingpaints Little late, and sadly not on iRacing, but have had the opportunity to design some NASCAR México Series paint schemes over the last few years.

For the USORL Music themed race a few weeks back, I went with a @honeyrevengeca and @vana__nz dual scheme, since I will be seeing them both in Orlando in June. I am so excited, and I love how it turned out.

Final design for right now: as the USORL starts gearing up for a switch to the NASCAR NextGen car, the league All-Star race was used as more of a test race. This scheme is based off of the Tyrolean Airways livery from Austria, which flew De Havilland aircraft.

For the second Daytona race on the calendar for the USORL season, was the "Railway Race" theme. I decided to highlight a local heritage railroad - the Prairie Dog Central Railway. This design is based off of locomotive #3, built in 1882.

Next up is a scheme for the fictional sponsor created by @zachchrostowski, Woah! Air. This race at New Hampshire, also in November. I was so close to winning this race after a 2-tire call almost paid off.

More USORL paint schemes coming up. This Lucas Oil scheme based off of the @j66anderson truck from 2020 ran at Atlanta back in November, where I finished 5th after starting 18th.

Back in the fall, I had 3 schemes hit the track in the Súper Copa racing series in México for ANVI Motorsport. ANVI sent the link for photos, but I hadn't gotten around to looking through them to choose to post for VLRD. Absolutely love the teal / black #02 variant.

The next week was the Darlington throwback race. I had found this basic scheme from the Goody's Dash Series days in the 1990's, driven by Rodney Orr and figured it was a fun scheme to integrate into a Bombardier-sponsored idea.
