@GrailTheAmazon @ZhangSupremacy Poverty porn didn’t become cinema. Cinema is the darpan, ayana, sheesha for a society. It wasn’t him glorifying poverty but the ideology and culture which promoted such stuff. He is not going to make a movie which people dont resonate with (in those times).

@ZhangSupremacy One of the key reasons i have saved myself from getting on bear train and losing money betting on the downfall of an expensive market ( in valuation) is Zizek’s philosophy. Through his few books - i eventually concluded that people have accepted the system as inevitable.
