It blows my mind that people trust a system that cannot even do basic math with something as simple as a budget, yet somehow believe it should control healthcare, education, money, and nearly every major decision in society.
If you personally failed to manage your own finances year after year, piling up debt with no plan to repay it, no one would hand you more responsibility. They would question your judgment immediately. But when it comes to government, failure gets rewarded with more power, more money, and more control.
This is the core insanity of statism. The same institution that proves over and over it cannot allocate resources efficiently is expected to solve the most complex human problems imaginable. Not just expected, but demanded.
Real freedom starts with recognizing this contradiction. You cannot outsource responsibility to something that consistently demonstrates incompetence and expect good outcomes. The results we see are not accidents. They are exactly what you would expect from a system that spends without discipline and operates without real accountability.
At some point, people have to ask themselves a simple question. If it cannot even balance a budget, why would you trust it with your life?
