@WellOffWorker

Working man with an appetite is for financial freedom. My dollars are blue-collared, & they work for me.

As a blue-collared worker, you need to understand that you out-earn the majority of people with degrees and university level education. However, a lot of the time, we are out-saved and have lesser net worth than those with conventional education. My take on this: (Thread)

None of this post is meant to be slander, I am a blue-collar individual myself. One who has made many mistakes but has changed how I view my hard earned money. Everything I'll ever mention on this account is from the standpoint of lived experience and observation. All the best

You already out earn the majority. Why not out invest them? For high income earners with skills, the sky is truly the limit.

Once familiarized, pick your poison and deploy that last bit of capital that was previously mentioned. Even with an investment strategy as simple as buying the S&P500, you receive a dividend quarterly. Now your hard earned money is working hard for you. Allow this to compound.

So that last ounce of energy after our hard day must go towards learning. Investing, stocks, crypto, real estate, precious metals, economics, and entrepreneurial material. Ideally looking to create income streams, ie. dividends & rental income. Or a side business.

But the fact of the matter is this- Many of us sell ourselves short. We (myself included) got into the labor force and trade jobs because we never excelled at traditional schooling. Luckily for us, the game of learning has changed, and it's at the tips of our fingers.

You can say the same thing financially. We earn enough for the house and the family. Once again, not much leftover. What is leftover for many goes towards toys and other types of short term gratification- as we reward ourselves for our hard work You need this to a degree.

Oftentimes, as blue-collar workers, we spend a huge amount of energy at work. This leaves us with not much leftover, just enough for the family and kids. We live a good life, but let's make it better.

Stop spending money on dumb shit. No matter how you make your money, whether business or salary. Pay yourself first. You may have created solid income streams, but you can always create more. Every dollar is a little soldier in your army, and it wants to be deployed.
