The ending of Advent Children makes me tear up so bad man. Cloud being surrounded by his friends and the children that look up to him, and seeing his face completely soften around them all makes me so happy to see. His development through FF7 has been amazing to see through 🥹

Because Rae wasn’t really a character in the comics while TJ pretty much has his own series and history so fans like myself just wanted to see him adapted properly. The fact they swapped him to probably just be a love interest makes it worse.

The problem with this is that the audience nu-Trek is shooting for is the Bajoran who stabs the Cardassian to death at the end of the episode.
Old Trek at its best was a conversation. Modern Trek is a lecture.
