Yeah, this is, unfortunately, where this was going I don't think the IP can be declared eternally dead, but this was never a put Destiny 2 down, pick Destiny 3 up and keep going situation. If D3 ever does happen they'd have to staff up significantly again

@PaulTassi My response to this is to just uninstall Destiny and Marathon off my PC and consoles The latter I only ever got thinking it would help support Destiny… god speed to them

there will be a number of changes and additions to the game with the next update (not delayed), but functionally the game will be static from here. An awful ending for a game and series that deserved a more coherent, thoughtful conclusion, and investment in the IPs future.
