The harsh reality of trading, often overlooked, is that even as a profitable trader, you can experience days, weeks, or even months of drawdown. No matter how much you believe in your "holy grail" trading system, there will come a point when it fails. The mark of a professional trader is the unwavering commitment to their system and executing trades whenever the setup arises, regardless of what happened previously (recency bias). This unpredictability in outcomes is inherent to trading. You can never predict when a losing streak will hit, so it's essential to maintain composure, whether you win or lose. The chart provided represents one of my accounts, which I had with @Maventrading, and it was a challenging journey. One that took me the longest to pass. Notice how I faced drawdown right from the start, which persisted for about two months. Then, in the following month, I managed to recover from a 7-8% loss and ultimately passed the account evaluation. I achieved an impressive 18% gain in just one month. Trading is far from a bed of roses, and believing you'd have it easy just because you have a renowned mentor is a big misconception. This is the unvarnished reality of trading, quite different from what you might have heard elsewhere. "Adversity forges the most resilient sailors". I hope you are ready for the storm ahead?
