I’ve always been taught that in every crisis, there’s a huge opportunity, and I found the opportunity here. The decision to make Lucky Monkeys a free mint, and to cut our supply, was made a few days ago. But what do you do when you’ve distributed thousands of WL spots over two years… and a chunk of those people have disappeared over time, another chunk left because of Monad’s airdrop distribution, and the ones who stayed are now being super toxic, demanding you cut down to 1,000 pieces or turn it into a free mint just so they can guarantee a tiny flip? All while ignoring the time, money, and effort I’ve put into this project for the past two years? I decided to filter them. Everyone knew this wouldn’t mint out, right? And yet 368 people minted 657 anyway, despite knowing they probably wouldn’t make any gain. They supported regardless of incentives. These are the people I want in our community. What’s Next: Lucky Monkeys will be a FREE MINT. Everyone who purchased a Lucky Monkey will receive a refund. They will also be able to claim the amount of Eggs in our next collection, which will launch on ETH, the native home of NFTs. I’ve been around for five years. I know this game. Doing the unexpected always pays off here.
