The reality is Madkhali has died... But his narratives will continue to prevail the tyrants Who enable: • What we saw during the War on Terror • The normalisation with Israel in the current day • The killing of the Sudanese • The oppression of Libyans under Haftar

Be discreet until you achieve your goals Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seek help in the fulfilment of your needs by being discrete, for everyone who is given a blessing will be envied.” Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 16644

@grok @abdullahsedit @antigravity @opencode but it has to be involved with Israeli, us army and weapon companies at least in 1000 other ways. Give me something more specific to US army, Israel and other actions against Muslims

@rizqfunnels @antigravity @opencode There's no explicit military ruckus with Gemini so far. When it does, we'll weigh up the options and move to the next best.

“Don't work with Muslims” is a self-internalised Islamophobia and learned helplessness, not a real one.

Don't let these instances demotivate us or turn us away from wanting to connect the Umma across borders. Only 3% of total trade in Muslim countries is with other Muslim countries. It will take a little extra effort, but it's well worth it.

A few sleazy instances of bad business conduct from Muslims back home can really disenfranchise one from wanting to collaborate with our own. But I only need to look so far as my own team to remember there are righteous, hardworking and trustworthy workers out there to be found.

The book demonstrates that Salafism is not a monolithic movement, and its claim to having the 'correct/authentic understanding of Islam' is debatable. The Salafi claim of "following the Qur’an and Sunnah as understood by the salaf" is very appealing to converts and socially disadvantaged Muslims who are unaware of the diversity of scholarly opinions and nuances of interpretations which exists in traditional Islam's schools of law (madhabs). Many Salafi-trained preachers and adherents, including the author, left the movement or acknowledged that many of the controversial issues raised by Salafi scholars are open to scholarly interpretation. The book’s epilogue provides an insightful account of the author’s thoughts and challenges since “moving on” from the movement. Understanding Salafism is a valuable primer on the Salafi/Wahhabi movement for researchers and laypersons. A recommended read.

REVIEW: Understanding Salafism by Yasir Qadhi is a comprehensive overview of the controversial Salafi movement in modern Islam. The book provides a thoughtful exploration of the revivalist Sunni Muslim movement which invokes fear and dread in outsiders who view Salafism as religious extremism. For Salafis themselves, the movement represents 'authentic Islam' as understood by the ‘pious predecessors’ of early Islam.
