@modernfarmer Well said Stewart! The political narrative of our local area is brutal for spreading negativity. This country is one of the best, if not the best, in the world. Working with our employee tfws for past 5 yrs has really proved this for us.

I won the birth lottery by landing in Listowel Memorial Hospital almost 39 years ago. I am more jacked up than ever to find ways to grow that pool of lottery winners and I hope others can cut through the bombardment of negativity we hear right now and see Canada’s promise too 7/7

Having a final cup of coffee in Vancouver this morning before heading home. Over the past month I’ve been from PEI to BC, from Quebec to the Yukon and it has been a wonderful reminder that I live in a wonderful place called Canada that has given me so many blessings 1/

Tonight's affordable dinner brought to us by #Canadianpork producers and a functional supply chain. Hands down the best protein choice at this price. #Ontariopork

Omicron has peaked in Ontario, schools have reopened, and days are getting longer. It seems like a good time to repost this tweet. #Optimism #Omicron

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the pandemic, lockdowns, and uncertainty, let me leave you with this. All pandemics end. The 'new' normal will eventually be the old normal, and likely much sooner than you think. #COVID19

AgriInvest - use it or lose it folks. Also, withdrawing every year prevents a large taxable draw. #2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">9sh.re/LWymoTZYp#2

@kmceachren Agree 💯. Our school board survey basically told us they would be doing part time. So 2 days/week max, then try to throw in a preschool aged child and kiss your career goodbye.

Financial investments need to be made now. Plans need to be made & shared with families now so we can plan accordingly.

Like many of you, I’m concerned about what September is going to look like for our family. We have two kids in school & our youngest attends our local nursery school. I am an OCT but work part-time & volunteer in the childcare/child education sector.

I'm one that usually keeps my personal emotions to myself. But times are different and so I hope you don't mind me sharing. We lost Grandpa Campbell to COVID this weekend. If you knew 'Breezy', I hope a few stories might make you smile.

We could run our 3000 acre farm for 11 years on one days fuel load for an A380 Airbus which is 320,000 litres We’d grow 33,000 tons of grain, 16500 lambs & 650 bales of wool with a days fuel for a big jet! Overstating the impact of meat distracts from the real culprits
Frank Mitloehner@GHGGuru

The statement that one meatless day per week is equivalent to not driving for 6 months is inaccurate and misleading in dangerous ways. It suggests that our main carbon emitting activity is meat eating and it de-emphasizes the use of fossil fuel activities such as driving.

I knew this day would come at some point. My little girl has always been willing to learn new things, so when we were short a driver to keep the harvest going she accepted the challenge and drove the combine most of the afternoon, even unloading on the go! Way to go Chloe!
