Introducing Borrow Stake Borrow Stake enables delegated node operators to increase their staking capacity without acquiring additional IAG. Through a dedicated 10M $IAG pool, operators can borrow and delegate directly to their node, retaining full staking rewards and $ADA fee earnings. Unlike traditional liquidity loans, borrowed IAG is immediately productive through staking — generating rewards and fee earnings from day one. After around 4 months of back and forth with Pentad & Intersect. Pentad steering committee decided not to reimburse Iagon for the Fireblocks integration fee.
@IntersectMBO recommend it to be approved but Pentad committee decided against.
This integration is a necessary stop-gap solution in order to provide institutional custody solutions for Cardano. If it goes well, this will lead to native integration. This is the solution that was recommend by Fireblocks to show ARR.
We also made steps early on to contact a host of dApps, market makers, capital funds, that could benefit from this solution to see what type of features they would like to see within the integration.
We even invited CF's Global Head of Technical Integrations @michaeldotada to make sure the features were in alignment with the goals. Michiel also attended every meeting leading up to the commercial agreement with Fireblocks.
This is Cardano wide integration, helps every CNT and at the same time provides $ADA native staking and voting features.
It is worth noting that FB wanted to work with us on this stop-gap integration and not the pentad members. They had the option of working with others and choose not to. Prior to pentad formalizing, we were assured by many of their members that they would have no objection to this reimbursement. Our plan was to go to the treasury prior to their pentad proposal being proposed within the Cardano treasury. We waited because of these verbal assurances.
@IagonOfficial will still continue this integration for Cardano and pay for the full fee. We don't plan to go to the treasury for a refund. We hope you like what we deliver. Excited for the end result!

Iagon does not know when to stop! So they opened the door to IP protection with Würth, Enterprise Storage, Data security and document handling for law firms with cloud court and now they are opening the door for the banking sector. I don’t think people truly grasp how huge Iagon will become! So let me paint you a picture to help you understand.👇
Think of Iagon as the trunk of a tree right? Out of the tree grows branches and right now Iagon has gotten quite a bit of branches already, lets think of the branches as potential ventures or solutions to problems, maybe as categories. The leaves 🍃 growing on the branches can we think of as companies or products for companies. Once a branch is deemed viable and has proven success with a product that is healthy, effective and working, what do you think will happen to that branch? More leaves will grow! 🌳Companies will wait in line to have their own solutions or products build on the branch.
Think how many banks exist worldwide, or how many law firms exist and so on. The tree (Iagon) will blossom and get populated by hundreds if not thousands of companies running products and solutions on the infrastructure 🌳. As soon as there is a functional product that saves costs, solves a problem or improves a business in any way more companies will seek out Iagon to populate that branch. And Iagon will earn royalties from each single leaf on the tree.
What lies beneath the tree you ask? Roots! And in Iagon’s case the roots are the node operators, spread all around the world, the lifeforce of the tree! The royalties will stream down through the trunk and into the evergrowing and connecting roots that keep the tree alive, stable and secure in the ground.
People keep worrying about Iagon’s viability, profits and rewards for the roots but the tree literally just started maturing after years of growth! The roots are already REALLY STRONG! We just have to wait for the leaves to start growing! 🙌
