There are literally people who claim to be Christians who are defending Israel’s bombing of one of Christianity’s oldest churches, there in Gaza… which, even more sacred than the iconic building, was filled with precious women and children, many of whom are Palestinian Christians. The devil is a liar. Every Christian in America, and around the globe should be asking right now: “What would Jesus, the Prince of Peace, do?” Let me suggest that he would not bless this violence. Jesus blessed those who mourn. He blessed the widows and the orphans. He blessed the poor. And Jesus blessed the peacemakers, not the war makers.
