If I lost everything and needed to make money immediately, I would door knock houses and ask to rake leaves and clean gutters. There is no doubt in my mind I could willpower my way into 50 houses paying me $100, every week repeatably. There are 1,000 other things like this.

@PossumDeMenthe @meganimation I've found it does the opposite of devaluing those degrees. Probably industry dependent, but IME employers are hungry for people who can read, write, competently use computers, and effectively speak to other humans. It's so easy to be a "star" in this environment (sadly)

@meganimation Which coincidentally devalues the bachelor's degrees of those who did finish the honest way. I graduated in 2022 and haven't had gainful employment since, with the two cited things being "why hire you when we can do ai" and "why hire you, your alma mater is pushing ai".
