@fmaddenNBA This is exactly the type of banter my brother and I engage in. It was Famous Amos! And it riffed a bit on the 80s Lee Iacocca Chrysler ads.

Random, pointless question which my friends and I were discussing but couldn’t figure out: anyone else who lived in Wisconsin in the ‘90s remember that commercial where the kid says “If you can find a better cookie, at a better price, BUY IT”? What brand was that for?

Incredible experience with the @NTTDATA team tonight. My first NFL game mixed with some great work connections. Amazing!

@chints2 Hangouts used to do that, but I'm not seeing that function in the new integrated chat in gmail. There is a desktop app.

Google is so good at taking things that worked great and making them worse. Today's entry was replacing google hangouts with google chat and not having a chrome extension for it. So much worse.

@RockRint469 Hey Pete! How are you? Long time no talk! Fond memories of our days at Y Camp! Chirag is doing great! He says “helllooo helllooo hellloo” What are you up to nowadays?

@techguy @BrittLQ @cristinastahr @chints2 Plus when things go wrong with the booth (as they inevitably do) it helps to have a Marketing person there to help deal with it. Salespeople are great for having conversations, terrible at scanning people (either too aggressive or not enuf). Mkting person lets sales focus #HITMC

T4 Marketing + Sales should own sales enablement. It's not one or the other. It only works when both are involved, actively communicating and collaborating. #HITMC

@Colin_Hung @BrittLQ @cristinastahr @techguy On the road and in meetings together help give perspective. Marketers can hear objections directly from customers and weigh if the ‘approved response’ withstands a prospects concerns. Sales reps can suggest and request materials they need and show why #hitmc

@BrittLQ @cristinastahr @chints2 @techguy It's all about airline points...but seriously being together in a booth with salespeople is a great way to connect and for BOTH to see what really resonates or doesn't with the target audience #HITMC

@jwsamuel @Colin_Hung @techguy As a sales rep, some of the best tools I used were ones I developed on my own. If marketing could make it better (and consistent and prettier!) I always jumped at the chance to get their help. #hitmc

@techguy @Colin_Hung Every marketing person should participate in sales calls during the year. Get true VoC and learn how a sales person interacts with the prospect. Separate theoretical from practical. We required this in past companies and it helped both sales and marketing work better #hitmc

@BrittLQ @HITMarketingPR Absolutely. Customers like being able to play around with tools and demos on their own before they are ready to buy. Interactive tools examples allow them to engage at the pace they are ready to. #hitmc

@HITMarketingPR In my marketing brain, I think Book a Demo has become tired. But Sales seems to still love it. I think audiences want something they can walk through themselves #hitmc

T2. What sales enablement strategies have not worked well or that have become tired? (e.g. direct email asking to book at demo)? #HITMC

@techguy I started using Rocketbooks and gave them to our team. We love them! Reuse all the pages, scan with app and OCR to text. Wipe clean and never need paper again. They also have Rocket Beacons to make virtual white boards. Huge fan! @GetRocketbook #hitmc

@techguy No need to have a crystal ball, but rather the willingness to avoid overly aggressive or risky themes, complicated features. Functionality is key. #hitmc

@chints2 Where do I get my 6-18 month crystal ball to predict that? #HITMC It's a good point, but my approach would be slightly different. Shoot for something that's timeless.
