@CR_UK@cosmocolliee@KyaraFennec What about when you already have abnormal cells? Cin3 for instance.
If the hpv goes away but the abnormal cells are still there you are just left
Previously, cervical screening tested for abnormal cells first. The test now first looks for high-risk human papilloma virus (HPV) which causes virtually all (99.7%) cases of cervical cancers. So, if someone’s sample comes back showing they don’t have high-risk HPV, they are at a very low risk of developing cervical cancer in the next five years.
Evidence showed that a gap of five years with HPV primary testing gave more protection against cervical cancer than screening every three years with the previous way of testing, and was as effective as HPV primary testing every three years. This is why the National Screening Committee have recommended this change, and projected that it will detect more women with cervical cell changes and save more lives.

Thanks for giving my parcel to some random person, lying and saying I signed for it and having absolutely no way for me to speak to anyone about it!
@YourGuinness What about the damage to my mental health you have caused by leaving me with a leaking roof for well over a year? Not only can you not be bothered to sort it you can’t even reply to my complaint well past the statutory deadline.
it's a common experience for tax credit or UC claimants. The DWP decide out of nowhere they have miscalculated and send you a demand letter. The miscalculations only ever go one way though. We are never owed money. They have never paid us too little.
I work full time for the
The DWP have decided they have overpaid me close to one thousand pounds. I have never once given them inaccurate information, it is their miscalculation. Yet I must pay it. I do not have a thousand pounds lying around. No one who claims benefits does.
I'm posting this because
@INorBY2020@CherylP54918090 Yes it’s definitely better for us younger folk who will likely die or have the state pension cancelled before we get there.
It was a lie everyone was sold, it sucks
@CherylP54918090 The difference between us and later cohorts is that they are aware of rising SPA and have Auto-enrolment to save for occupational pensions neither of which we had.

Nothing really drives home the reality of coming from a family with no generational wealth than going through end-of-life finances after one of your parents die. I've never been able to rely on my parents for financial support beyond the basics, and I'm feeling that even more now
Went to buy a sandwich to find @Tesco Metro have replaced all tills with these monstrosities towering in the sky, all at same height. No staff anywhere. But I resent being made dependent on others. If you make it impossible for people to purchase goods, don’t be surprised…
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Food and drink are life-saving medicine for Type 1 diabetics like me. Fruit snacks and juice boxes save my life regularly.
Strictly enforced “no food or drink” policies are discriminatory against diabetics. Refusing to accommodate our disability is unlawful.
@Hastings_Forbes@InternetH0F The best way is to fly ... if you can fly like superman, 99% of the time, its a dream. if you fall to your death, 99% of the time, its not a dream*.
*Results may vary
@katimcf@InternetnurseRN Did you have one in the end?
I worried the same, with me and my daughter. I tried really hard to do well.
Because it measures such minute movements it can tell if the results are off so you shouldn’t have to worry about doing too well or being perceived as faking
