@dbongino Ironically, the Garrett farm was located on the present property of U.S. Army Fort A.P. Hill in Bowling Green, VA. Hill was one of the Confederate Generals. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Happy #FossilFriday! Here’s a lovely ammonite, donated to @sciencemuseummn. These squid-relatives hunted warm ocean waters during the Age of the Dinosaurs. We got a few like this without good locality. Anyone in the PaleoTwitterVerse have an idea where these might be from?
