USB 3.2 Gen2, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.1 should NOT be confused with USB 3.2 Gen 1, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0.
Also, what you know as USB-C is actually USB Type-C and does not imply support for a particular USB standard. 🙄
