@nickbateman33 Too many teams providing cannon fodder for these top strikers
English

This is insane the World Cup isn’t even close to being over…someone’s getting to 10
For anyone new to footy, growing up 5-6 goals practically guaranteed you the golden boot

🚨 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧: World Cup Golden Boot race right now.

@mitch_fretton Remember it’s the wages that drag the finances down not the Transfer Fees . You need a crash course in Accountancy to understand the real implications of the signings . In short it’s a roll of the dice . If it works great but if it doesn’t…..
English

@GoonerTaIk I think this spending spree will get them up to mid table which after their last 2 seasons will warrant an open top bus parade
English

@HotspurLane Can’t believe this guy is employed by Talksport . Has no understanding of how things work and everything he says stops with bias
English

🚨🎙️ An uneducated Gabby Agbonlahor struggles to come to terms with how #THFC can spend so much money despite finishing 17th: 🥱
"Spurs finish 17th two seasons in-a-row, how can they go and spend £52M on Van Hecke, Tonali will be £100M, Fernandes will be £85M, and teams like Aston Villa who have just won the Europa League are getting fined £90M and can’t spend any money!”
“The rules are a joke!” 🤬
How can a football broadcaster have such little knowledge on how Spurs can afford to spend…🤷♂️😭
English

@tuckers35 @alex_crook He is only interested in his beloved Manure - an extremely poor journalist . Ignore him
English

There’s a shock @alex_crook is belittling the deal for Fernandes mentioning that he has been relegated twice!!
Now he’s mentioned Tonali for £90m and said if that’s the case what would Roy Keane be the worth today.
His disdain for Spurs is there for everyone to see
English

@m1735h297 But you’re not big - you have 2 x 17th place finishes last 2 seasons . No European football this season and only 1 trophy in over a decade . Spending this money is foolish - there is value and there is price . You have paid Harrods prices for Aldi goods ( no offence to Aldi )
English

@markgoldbridge There is ambition and then there’s sheer stupidity . Read the How to do Transfer Manual as per Ed Woodward !! That worked well didn’t it ?
English

@fullback03 Any fool can overpay a transfer fee and player wages to get who they want. It’s the easiest thing in the world. The difficulty is you end up with average players on top dollar.
English

He was fucking useless tonight btw
Robert Peston@Peston
And for my money, Declan Rice is the greatest England footballer since Bobby Moore

@ClockEndH Does it matter as long as we get the right additions ? Look at last summer then look at the League Table at the end of the season
English

I was one of those football fans who actually wanted Tottenham to stay in the Premier League because the North London Derby is one of the biggest fixtures in English football.
But the way they're moving in this transfer window is starting to worry me. They're recruiting well, strengthening key areas, and if they keep this up, beating them won't be as straightforward as many Arsenal fans think.
The North London Derby is about to become even more competitive.
HandofArsenal@HandofArsenal
If you think the market is broken wait till you hear Tonali will be sold to Spurs for £90-£100m
English

@ClockEndH I cannot believe you’re saying this. We are the champions of England. There is a World Cup on which features the world’s best players. We are waiting for our targets to become available. Stop this negative nonsense.
English

This is very ambitious from Tottenham ngl , Fernandes and Tonali in the space of 2 days is top work , they have added Senesi , Van Hecke already . It looks like Tottenham are ready for the league and putting up clear statement
but my problem is , how were they able to convince these players despite facing competition from Manchester United and Mancity . As a player , what will make you choose spurs over United ???
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano
🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham agree record deal to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle, HERE WE GO! 💥 Agreement between clubs closed and also on player side with the Italian midfielder. 🇮🇹 Fee higher than £85m paid for Mateus Fernandes.
English

@talkSPORT What are you on O Hara ??? These players are hardly an upgrade on your existing midfield - probably get you to 10th so I guess they will bring an improvement
English

@GoodLord744 @Ramsgoat3 You are joking ??? £100m plus silly wages ? Good luck to them . Not sure we lost him - didn’t want him or at least at that price .
English

@Ramsgoat3 Loosing Tonali to our rival is fucking hurting me so much 🤯
