Sometimes there are projects where one developer can truly change everything. And today, we want to share exactly that kind of story. SafeMode is a startup building an AI-powered fleet management platform. Their mission – make fleets safer and more efficient using real-time data, IoT, and advanced analytics. They came to us with 3 critical needs. And we needed just one backend developer to make it happen. SafeMode needed to: 1. Integrate new fleet clients fast 2. Normalize messy, inconsistent telematics data 3. Scale onboarding without rewriting everything every time What we delivered: ✅ Custom client integrations. We built integrations for each fleet client. For that, we connected different telematics providers and data sources to the SafeMode platform. Every integration made sure that driver behavior data is correct. ✅ Data transformation pipelines. We developed systematic pipelines that transformed APIs, CSVs, and other data formats into a single standardized internal schema. ✅ Reusable integration templates. We extracted common patterns from early integrations and turned them into reusable templates. ✅ Ongoing platform support. As SafeMode grew, we stayed involved. DBB Software helped to maintain existing integrations, onboarding new fleets, and adapting to evolving data requirements. The results: 1. Accelerated client onboarding. Pre-built solution drastically reduced integration time for new fleet clients – 50%! 2. Standardized data architecture. Last week, DBB Software was at Slush in Helsinki – and what an event it was! 💥 Hundreds of startups, investors, and companies gathered for 2 days in one place. It was huge! We spent the days networking, catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and just enjoying an amazing atmosphere. A special shout-out to the teams we were especially excited to talk to: Rippling, Stripe, Adyen, 10Web, Inven, A2A, Cloudflare, Nebius, Remote, Nordea, Amplitude, Deel, Greenstep, Zoho, and Auth0. Already looking forward to Slush 2026!

Our first time at Web Summit turned out to be an unforgettable experience! We didn’t expect it to be THAT massive: hundreds of stands, thousands of companies, and tons of attendees. To be honest, it was a bit chaotic — we tried not to get lost, and we almost succeeded 😆 Still, our teammates Anton S. and Mina Morkos connected with experts from diverse industries and countries. All to exchange ideas, knowledge, and predictions about the future. A lot of AI discussions. AI, AI, AI… At DBB Software, we believe that in a couple of years, incorporating AI into your business will be the norm — like having a mobile app for your bank. Without it, you don’t count. We actively utilize use AI in our workflow. For example, our devs use it for a code review (Code Rabbit, GitHub CoPilot), code assisting (Claude, Cursor, CoPilot), AI keynotes, AI workflow automations (like N8N), End-to-End tests, infrastructure and cloud hosting analysis etc. In terms of networking, this event turned out to be really fruitful: we met new clients, built partnerships, and reconnected with old friends.
