I had an awesome experience at the Temple. I was working in the Baptistry and an older couple came in and wanted to simply do some confirmations. OF course, I said yes. As he laid his hand on his wife's head, he started to say the words, and then paused, then a few more words and more pauses. We are trained to feel for the spirit and the spirit told me to just wait and let him proceed at his pace. After he got done, he looked at me with a tear in his eyes and explained that the reason he went so slow was that he was in the final stages of fighting cancer. He was pausing to contemplate how this ordinance was received on the other side of the veil, because he would be there shortly. I had no words. I am so glad I said nothing during his pauses.

This is part of the America 250 celebration to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. The CEO of one food bank in St. George, Utah said the donation will help take pressure off as they are seeing a big influx of families in need. Women in Relief Societies in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana helped those in need and served as Jesus Christ would. Several recent activities helped babies, teens, senior citizens and first responders.
