Closing out 2025 by killing "Zombie Resources." 🧟 Most companies are burning money on idle EC2s and unattached EBS volumes that provide zero value. I built Nubi Cloud to stop the bleed. Features listed below👇

You can now pay for things in Africa directly from your AI agent. Today we’re introducing Paystack Index, the easiest way to check out with Paystack merchants through Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, and any AI agent. At launch, you can: → Buy airtime: “Buy ₦500 MTN airtime for 080…” → Send money with @zapbypaystack: “Send ₦25k to…” → Buy food with @ChowdeckHQ: “Order jollof under ₦3k near me” As more merchants join the Index, you’ll be able to do more, from booking rides and ordering groceries to paying utility bills, quickly and securely. Paystack Index is now available in Nigeria, with more African markets coming soon. An experimental product from Paystack and TSG Labs.

That @UrglyGramm post just made me understand how the average Nigerian thinks and that why it’s so difficult to build wealth. What I would do if suddenly I have 1.4 billion naira. (Smart way) - Lock 1 billion into a low-risk assets can be liquid or illiquid (depends on your level of discipline). Ideally you want something that will take months to convert to cash at hand. Or better still work with a good asset management firm to grow/manage your money while you do other things. - Put 300M in the bank or a very liquid asset. This is for emergency purposes only, just incase you fall sick, sometimes you get reckless too. - With the remaining 100M. Get a nice car around 20M, rent a house 3-5M (don’t build/buy yet), furnish the house 3-7M, get a nice phone, jewelries, clothes etc. Just make yourself comfortable. Start a business with 20M, save some for food till your business starts making money, support your family with the rest. - After 2-3 years of doing the business or doing multiple businesses. You would have learnt a lot of lessons and mistakes without going broke or losing too much money. If you still have your emergency funds great, you pump it into the most successful businesses and expand them aggressively. You will still make mistakes but far less and not stupid mistakes. - In 5-10 years you most likely would have made enough money to afford your own house, buy the wrangler and G-Wagon, support your family, built solid networks etc without touching your 1 billion. However in all these consult good wealth management firms, so they help you structure and protect your money, pay less taxes, ensure generational wealth, and share your wealth properly in case you die in between. If I am not smart, I will just buy a property in a high-brow area, convert to a shopping mall or school hostels and get rent for life. Low risk but low turnover. Great if you are 40+.

Just imagine, 130M for business out of 1.4 billion. First 130M business cannot fund this type of lifestyle. Second, If you put that amount of money into a business you have never done or have not handled at a large scale before, you will end up making big expensive mistakes and you lose all the money. Third, if this is what your head can think of with 1.4 billion naira in your hand, it’s either you have not made good money before or you are just completely irresponsible. This is a really poor/poverty mindset. With this mindset if you make this money you will be back to the street in 10years, probably even worse than you started because now pride will not allow you do the things you need to do to bounce back.

The facts say 486 miracle centers were closed down by obiano after WAEC threatened to ban almost all schools in Anambra. He also did not build a single school throught his 8 years. And then you say it’s a lie. You this people sef

You don’t even know your lord and savior. He was never a Bank director, he was a bank Chairman. One requires banking knowledge and experience, the other requires a vote by shareholders. For all but one of the banks he was a Chairman of, they are all dead. The only surviving one is Fidelity, and he was more of a Snake that walked on that mountain, he left no mark. He doesn’t have Ivy League grad school degrees, he attended Ivy League executives training which requires no form of serious qualifications to get into. He was not a SEC Director, he was a SEC Chairman. It was a political appointment he was obviously not qualified for seeing as he doesn’t have any training or experience in securities, we know why Jonathan gave it to him. During his 2 terms as Governor, he didn’t make any remarkable or worthy of note POLICIES to the improvement of the financial position of the state. We have heard your lord and savior talk enough to know that he doesn’t know jack about finance, however, I do commend his knowledge of trading and prudence.
Tayo Txn.🖤@tayobeats_

a young and energetic finance practitioner of less than 10 years experience believes she understands governance and macro economics more than a former 2 term state governor, multiple global ivy league business school graduate, multiple bank director, SEC director, former finance advisor to the presidency, all of these outside his personal business. whatever is driving you is insane.🙂

@DOlumolade @Femi_OfMainland You went back and checked the man and didn’t see what he did as governor of Anambra state nor his incorruptible character and prudence as enough reason to give him a chance at president when the present administration is failing woefully. You are an idiot.

We are talking about Policing you are talking about NCS and NIS. And what do you mean they report to the president? What happened to the CGC & CGI? You really don’t know what you are talking about. Let’s not even go to the fact that it’s practically impossible to completely border a country (even Almighty America still struggles with this), which of these crimes are done by foreigners? You can blame the president (as well as Minister of Finance) for appointing a bad CGC or CGI, but that does not exonerate them from not doing their job. And pls they don’t report operations to the president.

@developermide @D_TaxConsultant @OpeBee Every illegal weapon in the hands of criminals reflects the failure of NCS but reports to him. Govs cannot search containers at the port or highway. Every criminal alien in Nigeria is a reflection of the failure of NIS that reports to Tinubu. Govs have no power to profile people

I have met a lot of people that voted Peter Obi the last time and will be voting PBAT next year. I have also met a lot of people that voted Peter Obi last time but will sit out this election because Peter Obi hasn’t been as inspiring as he was in 2023 and they do not consider the alternatives as better. I haven’t met a single PBAT supporter that is now supporting Peter Obi or any other candidate( this is my reality) I believe this administration hasn’t lived up to certain hype but I cannot deny that it’s been reform minded. Helping correct structural issues that have plagued this country far too long. For example, the recent passage of the state policing bill is by no means a mean feat. That this administration makes it look easy or don’t blow their trumpet so loudly does not diminish the huge significance of the bill and the tireless work that they put into it. The implementation of the Nigeria Payments System Vision 2028 ( championed by CBN) is another policy that has gone under the radar(I believe we should all read about the policy) . This is one policy that will revolutionize our financial system for good. One that will birth several financial innovation and products. There is no eradication of poverty without financial inclusion and it appears CBN is on an articulated agenda towards a sustainable path. For some of us, there are enough reasons to stick around this current administration. The alternatives aren’t as inspiring and simply do not have what it takes to out perform this current administration.

What do you mean by Govs don’t have the resources? We are talking about banditry, kidnapping and ethnic conflicts issues and you are talking about the army? Okay, even if Govs can’t directly mobilize the police are you not supposed to be pushing for laws that makes it easy for them to do that? You just portrayed what I was saying, the average Nigerian knows nothing about how his country works.
