The #NJDevils hired Sunny Metha as their 6th GM of their franchise. Ownership made it very clear they wanted someone who was analytically driven & landed just that.
I absolutely love the fact that he worked alongside one of the best GM’s in the game, Bill Zito, in Florida.

Changing the captain or moving Bratt isn't fixing the goaltending that played a Role in sinking this season
It likely won't help a team Sh% of 7 either.

Spent a little time in a time warp this AM inside the still beautifully intact former Izod Center. Same signs, same lockerrooms, the forgotten New Jersey Sports Hall of Fame plaques still on the concourse, same press room with plates of outlets long gone, same scoreboard. Too many wonderful surprises to list in the place where among other things, the last "arena" #FinalFour was held. It is like time stopped.
