Tip: if you are debating WC33 vs FH33 then after deadline tonight make the transfers to farm value and get the players you want. Next week just click whichever chip you end up choosing - it will wipe all the hits but keep the team value in case you end up Wildcarding.

@CCalcistica Fair point - extending the time frame for home-grown status might be the best bet then.

@dmpwright I'm not sure they can do that under EU law (i.e. discriminate by nationality). The other option would be to place a longer time frame for obtaining homegrown status (e.g. 10 years), which may well be possible.

If Serie A clubs are required to play x number of Italians under x years old, there will be one outcome: Loads of sub-standard Italian goalies and full-backs will get minutes (the least valuable positions), then as soon as they're overage they'll get pumped back down to Serie C.

To fund Salah + Ekitike would you rather: Rogers ➡️ Tavernier OR O'Reilly ➡️ Tete The Tavernier move could leave me exposed if O'Reilly and Andersen don't start again, and I'd need Mukiele to be fine for GW31 or a defender transfer is needed. The second move is safer but lower upside, but I'd definitely have a defence this week and in GW31.
