How To Survive Office Politics Without Losing Yourself!!!!!!!! 1. Stay neutral in battles that aren't yours. 2. Never put anything in writing you wouldn't say out loud. 3. Be warm with everyone and close with very few. 4. Observe power dynamics before picking a side. 5. Keep your personal life off the office floor. 6. Disagree in private. Support in public. 7. Never let frustration speak before your brain does. 8. Build a reputation that survives other people's opinions. 9. Loyalty is earned slowly don't hand it out fast. 10. Play the long game when everyone else is playing petty.

Normalise not being the best in the room. Stop feeling threatened by others expertise. Do not let your ego hinder your learning and avoid the pressure of constant perfection.

yeah and its really this simple: every time you switch, you reset 3 things: context, pattern recognition and trust. - no context means you go back to surface-level thinking - no pattern recognition means you are not deep enough to see what really works - no trust means nobody takes you seriously because you haven’t stayed long enough it might feel like you are moving but you are actually just restarting over and over again. things only change if you stay past the point where its boring, unclear and slow. then you can see: - what really matters - what actually matters - whats fake signal - where leverage really is ….
