@ListerLawrence Not an isolated incident sadly and why I don't use my EV for longer journeys any more. More like an hour per vehicle in colder weather.

Not a great pic, but there must have been 20-30 electric cars queuing for a charge at Gretna Welcome Break this afternoon. If that’s 40 mins charge each it would be around 3-4 hours some will wait to begin charging. Luckily I was in a V12 so just filled it up in about 3 mins. 💅

@Chris_Pickering That’s a very valid point @Chris_Pickering but if sensible upgrades to brakes etc. allow more use as a daily driver, then great. But as a toy, I agree with you.

@RalphHosier Happy to chat Ralph as someone who co-created a specialist EV pre-Tesla Roadster and has run an EV for the last 4 years. The issues and limitations haven’t changed but we can’t continue to burn fossil fuels.

So, tell me what you really think about EVs. I'm very interested in your views. No, really I am. I've got to make important decisions about which way we take the business.

@Chris_Pickering Obviously taking battery packs from crashed Model S’s yields a limited carbon footprint. But yes, new packs in a 1,500 mile a year classic makes no sense from a lifecycle analysis point of view. But owners should be free to choose what they want to do.
