As a veteran automotive technician, I think it’s an outrage and so wrong that a 50K truck would have a plastic engine oil pan and drain plug! And also plastic transmission pan, valve covers, intake manifold and so on. About 50 percent of many of today’s vehicles are plastic. Plastic warps, gets brittle and cracks with age
