@hmmerpwr "Mm, the one I like?" He winked, continuing to eat, feeling the nudge of his leg. "I will, Meredith, you have been so good to me during my recovery." He smiled.

@hostiledreamer4 “I may just change into my one robe .. it’s a bit thinner .” She hummed out, using one of her feet to nudge his leg. “If there’s anything you need today .. please let me know.”

@hmmerpwr "You'd never survive in México, love, our summers are warm," he smiled, as he continued to eat. "I'm all for enjoying the day inside, doctors orders for me to rest," he smiled.

@hmmerpwr "I know you were, Meredith. I'm sorry if I drudged anything up," he smiled softly, as he began to eat. "But I'm still here, love, not going anywhere."

@hostiledreamer4 Settling into a nearby seat to join him, carefully listening while finishing off her coffee. Unsure of what to say next .. she’s already emotional. Cheeks turning a bit red while she sat there , hesitant to eat from her plate now. “I was afraid of losing you..”

@hmmerpwr He only has 80%function in it today, I don't know if you can tell." He sighed. "I was angry too, wished I stopped him. But holding on to that anger, wasn't healthy so I forgave myself." "Maybe you will in time too, but if you need an ear to listen, I'm here."

@hmmerpwr "And, you're feelings are valid, Meredith. It's not wrong, or anything to feel that way," Benito said as he sat down with his morning antibiotics and breakfast. "He came out of nowhere, was on the roof. You know my brother was shot in the shoulder by a cartel man he trusted. +

@hmmerpwr "Hey, it's not your fault," he gently stroked her back. "I saw you run off and I just, followed, I couldn't save my fiancée but I wanted to save you," he said. "I could never, Meredith. I love us, and I knew we could get through it."

@hostiledreamer4 “I’m so sorry that happened , honey.. I couldn’t stop crying .” She approached and gently brushed the bandages with the back of her hand. A few kisses to his cheek slightly after . “I was worried you were going to leave me .. after that.”

@hmmerpwr "I do," he smiled, and placed a plate in front of her, complete with everything- waffles, yogurt, bacon, eggs. "I slept well, was up for a bit mind was racing, but got back. They are, yes. New scar to add the collection," he pointed to his bandaged side.

@hostiledreamer4 “You always love it , darling.” She laughed softly while following him into the kitchen. Sipping on her coffee for a little bit before resting against a nearby counter. “How’d you sleep? Are the pain medications working?”

He'll be lounging in his underwear, by the pool.

@hmmerpwr "You know how to distract me, love," he winked, as she grabbed her coffee. "Good idea or I'd be eating naked, and we wouldn't get anything done today." He chuckled, as he went in and began to plate food.
