Christianity, at its core, is about individuals and freedom. Capitalism itself is amoral. Under Christian moral constraints, it can and has created unprecedented wealth for the largest numbers of people. Without those constraints—as seen in Communist China—it can and has become a tool to enrich the state and few elites by maximum exploitation of the powerless. This isn’t my opinion. It’s my lived experience.

Today, trees of that type cannot grow at that altitude because it is far too cold. 6,000 years ago aligns with the Holocene climate optimum, a time when temperatures were far higher than now, even with far less atmospheric CO2. Earth's climate is cyclical. Mother Nature self-regulates. Narratives of doom serve political aims, not reality.

This is really hard to post. Last week I ran a fan poll asking what big change you wanted for the Litterbox Family. I expected something silly like “They win the lottery!” or “More jokes about cheese!” Instead… you overwhelmingly voted for “Fran dies.” I’m honestly kind of stunned. I didn’t think that option would actually win. Fran has been such a huge part of this comic for years, so this one hurts. -But the comic most go on! I guess at least "Catty McCatface" didn't win. What does that even mean?!

What if your beliefs were like other peoples and didn't have special privileges? Would you care about free speech then?
