@KatLoughrey I recently spent a week in Munich, took out some cash at an airport ATM, but never used it because every place took cards.

Germany: "Cash only. We only take cash. No cards please."
But we won't put ATMs anywhere convenient, like train stations, supermarkets, near shops, tram stops etc.
For a cash-focused country, why can't I ever find an ATM? Except those dodgy Euronet ones.

@dillspitzen Very interesting. Not heard of these things before. I just remember my parents once telling me that a drop of water costs 10 Pfennig when I was a child - what a lie - so I’ve always been very careful with water consumption.

I once had American airbnb guests in my flat and I had to scrub the shower for hours afterwards. I have no idea how they use the shower. I feel this is a skills issue.
Also the only time I ever had a clogged toilet was when a friend from USA was visiting.
Something seem off.

Europe has so many advantages over America but designing a shower that doesn't get water all over the bathroom is not one of them.

Also in usa hotels the always attach the shower head to the wall and have a bath tub underneath. Probably because the target audience has very erm exuberant and chaotic shower practices.
