i guess it makes sense given theyre adults instead of teenagers but i didn’t realize how tired i was of this whole “everyone believes the evil cringe monologue is the truth bc the character has been pretending to be evil all this time even though they very obviously aren’t” bs

nobody justifies it and they still get angry at him as they have the right to but they all do acknowledge hes pretty much obviously suicidal and they recognize he needs help and they are kind enough to give that to him instead of taking his behavior at face value

it just hit me that after having characters like kokichi who killed himself trying to stop the game and had the entire cast think of him as nothing more than an asshole and a liar until the very end its so refreshing to see everyone understand jax’s breakdown for what it truly is

@snickerolli Idk why people think Jax being transfem has to mean that her entire storyline was actually solely about being transfem the whole time and that it can’t coexist with other interpretations. It would be important in the same way that her mental health is important

people take fiction way too seriously sometimes. Not everything that happens in a tv show will send the message that its ok to do in real life. You’re supposed to think for yourself

my trans girlfriend likes the transfem jax hc because she used to hate femininity and really played up the toxic masculinity just like jax did before finding out she was a girl. What you find to be shallow is a real experience to actual trans people
