27 years ago, the all-star tribute for Johnny Cash was broadcast (April 18, 1999). Among others, Bob Dylan performed with his band, playing the song “Train of Love.”
Cash wrote in a letter afterwards: „Thank you Bob, for doing my song. You looked great and sounded great.“

6 years ago today, “I Contain Multitudes” was released. Just like “Murder Most Foul,” the song appeared on streaming platforms without prior announcement. Another intriguing aspect was the choice of cover art: a 24-year-old concert photo from Salzburg, taken by Andrea Orlandi.

This auction item is crazy. Music manager Jerry Weintraub at one point managed both Bob Dylan and Neil Diamond, so he had a reversible satin jacket made that, depending which way he wore it, said "Dylan" or "Diamond" on the back.
