day 57 of my ai automation journey did another round of cold outreach today this time i went to google maps searched for local service businesses HVAC companies roofing companies plumbing businesses some of them don't even have websites so i tracked them down on instagram and DMed them there no fancy tools just finding real businesses with real problems one by one will give updates on how those conversations go also starting something new today using Make(.)com for the first time another automation platform alongside n8n going to use it to automate sending emails to potential clients who might need my service every new tool is a new skill every new skill is a new offer

i think i found another way to get clients in automation it's day 56 of my ai automation journey most people think you need a portfolio a website and years of experience to land your first automation client you don't here's what actually works find one business owner who is clearly overwhelmed by repetitive work every service business has someone spending hours daily on tasks a system could handle in seconds don't pitch them anything yet just ask them to show you their most painful manual process listen carefully and take notes now take everything they told you and feed it to ai ask it to identify every step that can be automated and what time it saves now build a simple one page breakdown: - here's the problem - here's what i can automate - here's how many hours you get back every week get on a 15 minute call and show them that then price it based on what their time is worth if the system saves them 20 hours a month and their time is worth $25 an hour that's $500 a month in recovered labor charge $5000 for the build offer a monthly retainer to keep it running they're still coming out ahead the formula is simple; find the pain show the fix price the value you don't need anything else im adding this to one of the methods im gonna be applying to get clients

I was spending 3 hours a day DMing people on Reddit manually. So I built a bot that does it for me. Scrapes Reddit globally for buyer intent posts, sends my DM automatically, logs replies in a dashboard. Runs 24/7. Sent 1,200+ DMs in 30 days. Landed paying clients. Turned it into a product. $47/month, cancel anytime. autosub.mooo.com

🚀 Aliens are real. Comics are dropping. And the blockchain is calling your name. As Ambassador for Shrook NFT 👹 & Stellar Punk 🐶, I’m locked in on two of the freshest, most fun mints on Base $ETH right now. Stellar Punk – The ONLY space adventure comic book series turning into NFTs + IRL physical comics. Hand-drawn punks, UFOs, intergalactic chaos. Minting at just 0.005 ETH. Early holders get exclusive comic drops, rewards, and a front-row seat to the story unfolding. Issue #1 digital drops soon – physical in July. This isn’t just art… it’s your ticket to the universe. 🌌 Shrook NFT – Mischievous, mysterious, and minting cheap at 0.00365 ETH. 2500 supply, early energy is building FAST. Perfect companion to Stellar Punks – holders are already winning big in joint giveaways. Why both? Because the community is real, the utility is coming (comics, rewards, staking vibes via CorgiStudio), and the floor is still ground level for believers. Ready to join the crew? 👉 Mint here: corgistudio.io Mint 3+ Stellar Punks for comp entries → massive prizes (USDC, cross-project NFTs, rare comics). Tag your squad. RT if you’re in. What’s your favorite trait or why are you minting? Drop it below 👇 #StellarPunk #ShrookNFT #NFTCommunity #BaseChain #Web3 #ComicNFT

Okay this is genuinely insane. SpaceX just unveiled a satellite whose only job is to run AI. Not internet. Not GPS. Just compute, floating in orbit. It's called AI1, and the reason behind it breaks your brain. AI data centers on Earth are hitting a wall, not a chip wall, a physics wall. They need staggering amounts of power and water just to stay cool, and we're running out of grid and land to build them. So Musk's answer is: stop building them on Earth. In orbit, the sun never sets. Free power, 24/7. No water for cooling, you just radiate heat into the vacuum of space. The two things choking AI on the ground barely exist up there. And here's the wild part: Musk says it's easier to build than a Starlink satellite. Strip out the complex antennas and it's "a lot of solar cells, a radiator, and some laser links." One AI1 carries the compute of an Nvidia GB300 rack, the same hardware data centers fight over down here. AI1 is just the first one. The plan is a constellation of up to a million of them. And the timing isn't an accident, SpaceX goes public this week at a ~$1.75 trillion target. This isn't a rocket company anymore. It's positioning itself as the power grid for AI, in space. The race for AI compute just left the planet. Literally. @SpaceX

The Pragmatic Engineer
The Pragmatic Engineer@Pragmatic_Eng·
Startups should be able to pitch their product without saying ‘AI’. @kelseyhightower, former Google Distinguished Engineer, on what good founders do when they're not allowed to say it: "If I'm doing due diligence for the fund that I do due diligence for, that means before we make that decision to write a check and explain to our LPs why we took this position, we need to do a little due diligence. The way I do due diligence, I want to meet the founder. I would like them to walk me through the particular product. And I go one step deeper. Let's look at the code. Let's look at your Amazon bill. Let's look at the architecture. Let's look at GitHub. How do you manage issues? How do you all work together? I want to get a sense for the team, the product and its trajectory. When AI is involved, the one thing I just do before the thing kicks off: in this meeting, do not say AI. Because what we don't want to do is use a big umbrella to describe what you're doing. Let's get concrete details. These are computers. These are computer programs. Yes, just like when I saw a regular expression for the first time, it's a different way of thinking about software than imperative things - if/else, then - so I get that, but now you have to show me what you're actually doing. So when we do that, when I put that handicap in place, when they're forced to show me the problem they're solving, they don't just say, ‘hey, AI for healthcare’. Nope. Show me exactly what you're doing. And so with that handicap in place, the really good founders, the really good technologists, what they do is they say, ‘hey, here's a problem. And here's how an industry currently solves the problem. And here's the drawbacks from that’. And since they can't say AI, they can’t say agentic, they just have to show me how they make the problem better.”
