✋ STOP SCROLLING AND READ THIS POST IF YOU INVESTED IN AUSTIN STICKER CAPSULES ✋ These capsules were removed without warning a couple weeks ago― something that Valve hasn't done in recent years. There was also no mention of their removal in any of the release notes. This led to a buying frenzy that has continued to this day. The Austin 2025 Contenders Sticker Capsule is pushing $0.80 right now on the Steam Market and is likely to go higher over the next several days. I'm writing this post to make sure we as investors are grounded and don't get complacent. When times are good we seem to forget just how bad things can get. Being cautious is advised here. Why? Because we are so close to the release of the Budapest Major stickers (~1 month). The short term price action of these Austin sticker capsules hinges on the demand of the upcoming stickers. 📈 Different Scenarios That Could Affect Prices 📉 If Valve releases border-less stickers then these stickers will likely see a pop from investors taking money out of their Stockholm, Antwerp, Copenhagen investments and funneling them into the scarcity that is Austin. If Valve releases bordered stickers similar to Austin in design, then we may trend lower in the short term. The novelty of the Austin stickers will slowly fade and demand will go down which will cause prices to go down. If Valve releases bordered stickers that look horrendous, then Austin should benefit, but the real winners will probably be the aforementioned border-less stickers. NOTE THESE ARE MY PREDICTIONS, NOT FACT. Right now I'm seeing a lot of demand from investors chasing these stickers & capsules, which is only pushing prices higher. That is great for us investors who got in early, but it should also scare us a little bit. We saw how quickly the Shanghai 2024 Contenders Sticker Capsule dumped from $2.59 back down to ~$1, losing 50% of its gains in a very short time span... 📚 Lesson: Take profits while you have them, because you never know when your gains will evaporate. Not sure what to think... The year is almost over, and all we've really gotten are skins and community-made content. It's nice, but it makes me wonder: What the hell is Valve actually working on? 🤔

@fanocs The next major capsule I will probably be out of, due to this sudden departure of Austin, maybe the next ones will be purchased on a large scale

@fanocs gallery was very heated by the community, I think that its value was due to a very large initial explosion that occurred with the announcement, or perhaps the massive ban of Chinese people, perhaps they lacked a pump

💭 INITIAL THOUGHTS ON THE NEW CS2 UPDATE 💭 - Did not expect to see Austin 2025 Major Sticker Capsules removed. So that was a pleasant surprise even though I didn't invest nearly as much as I wanted to. - Gallery Case was finally removed and demand seems to be strong. I don't anticipate it to fall below $1 ever but if I starts to approach it over the next several days I will continue to stack more. - NEW CHARMS?! The old charm collections are definitely next on the chopping block. One of them will be marked as "Last Chance". The question is which one? - Fever Case will likely also be removed alongside the charms. However investors need to be cautious of the potential for a new case to be introduced that contains the same golds. - We have WAY too many items that we can invest in the Armory. That isn't always a good thing. We need to be careful not to get complacent. - I was wrong. The next pump wasn't Sport & Field collection or Overpass 2024. It was the Austin stickers. I will definitely be doing another Spaces live on X, so if you wanna hear two investor buddies chat about the skins economy, come hang out with us this weekend! More details to come. 🤗 One more thing. We don't own anything in CS2. This is Valve's game at the end of the day. We are just renting their intellectual property and hopefully making gains along the way, while they make their millions... 📚 Lesson: Don't be afraid to take profits when you have them. @BobCalvery I think if at some point the terminal starts recommending a new collection, the items in that collection will be impossible to have, and then there could be a big boom.

With the market slowly stabilizing it's becoming evident that the Genesis Terminal items will NOT be PROFITABLE keep your money 👍
