I don't like to brag and we're definitely far away from a 6 digit number of users, but today in the night we reached 26K users. Back in 2019 we had less than 10K users. I'm so glad that Libravatar is still growing - thanks to all the users out there!

Does it get these images from the resources you mention like gravatar, GitHub etc? Mainly asking because I’m wondering how up to date your data and how big your coverage is 😁 Thanks!

Is there nowadays a modern alternative to Gravatar? Or is Gravatar still used a lot? I feel it isn't, but I struggle in finding a good alternative. The idea of Gravatar is great, having a single URL so you can easily add a profile image 🤷‍♂️ Don't want to add upload myself.

@ohareza TBH, I'm still not sure why this is happening and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. However, we've fix it for you now manually. Please let me know if that's OK for you.

@willmcgugan What about @libravatar ? Not only open source, but also about #freedom and #privacy ! Those who don‘t know it: It‘s an alternative to Gravatar. Allows federation and even features transparent, anonymous proxying to Gravatar.
