We want to address the recent concerns surrounding the Community Airdrop and provide full clarity, transparency, and a constructive path forward that respects everyone who has supported Play Solana since day one. During the CGE (Claim Generation Event), a communication gap unfortunately led to confusion, which quickly snowballed into misinformation and frustration. Today, we want to correct this and reestablish clarity across the entire community. During the claim, Players had two options: 1. Immediate $PLAY Liquidity: -Claim 70% immediately, with a 30% cut. 2. Staking for 3/6/9/12 months: -Receive the full 100% allocation at the end of the selected period, plus a bonus of 10% / 30% / 60% / 100%, respectively. This mechanism was designed for long-term sustainability: reduce short-term selling pressure and reward those who believe in the long-term vision of the PlaySolana . And to be absolutely clear: the 30% cut was never intended to be kept by the team. It was always planned to be redirected into the rewards pool to generate even more long-term value for the community. That said, two things went wrong: first, we did not communicate this decision to the community ahead of time; and second, the mechanism we believed was well-constructed did not resonate with the community. Together, these factors created a situation that led to understandable frustration. We take full responsibility for that, and we want to fix it in a way that is fair to everyone. Play Solana was, and will always remain, a fully community-driven project. We read every message, we value every piece of feedback, and the community should (and moving forward will) always have a voice and take part in the decision-making process as the SuperHUB evolves. Here is how we move forward: 1. Players who claimed immediately and received 70% Will receive the remaining 30% after a 3-month cliff from TGE, i.e., on February 14th, 2026. This restores their full 100% allocation, while remaining fair to those who made staking decisions based on the information available at the time. 2. Players who staked their $PLAY Regardless of the selected locking period, will receive an additional 30% $PLAY on February 14th, 2026, at the same time as non-stakers. This is added on top of their 100% allocation plus their staking bonus and serves as an extra acknowledgment for those who showed the strongest belief in Play Solana. 3. Players who have not yet claimed Can freely choose either option. We’ll share the full technical breakdown soon, but for now, rest assured that the remaining 30% from your allocation - or the extra amount for stakers - is fully guaranteed. As stated on the website, the claim window REMAINS OPEN FOR 30 DAYS. Any tokens left unclaimed after this period will be added to the rewards pool, further reinforcing long-term value for the community members who are here to stay. We will continue building the future and the vision of Play Solana together. Solana will never be the same.
