the prom21 (b650 chipset) add in card has been upgraded.
the latest one features a low profile pcb, with full usb support and oculink for flexible gen3x4 extension.
this new versions got four m.2 slots (x2+x2+x2+x2). the two m.2 slots on the front can be used as x4+x4 while the back m.2 slots will be disabled.
the first two batches has already been sold out.
the price is like ~400rmb (58usd), the cost is ~300rmb (44usd).
specs:
- gen4x4 pcie gold finger
- four 10g usb-a (back io)
- one 20g usb-c (back io)
- three usb 2.0 9pin headers
- one pcie 6pin for usb
- one oculink (gen3x4, with a switch for different configs, like four gen3x1 or one gen3x4)
- four gen4x2 m.2 slots with 2280/22110 support
- pcb length = 175mm
it would be perfect for the back m.2 slot on itx mobos and on msi 800series refresh matx mobos.

btw gamersnexus got a video visiting amd lab and they talked about the reference prom21 pcie aic card. it seemed amd doesnt mind mobo vendors to design their own prom21 pcie aic card for connectivity extension. HOLY SMOKES This board is actually nuts! DDR5-12144 at normal Room temperature It's one of the most difficult boards to use but it's the Most rewarding in the end
