@Mesanella47 I fell in love with them because some of their concepts weren't overly masculine. I really enjoy groups that have a more neutral image instead of sticking to one extreme.

breaking my silence here. sebagai orang yang memang masih kurang aware mengenai isu sosial ini, let me be honest that i was clueless at first because i've never been educated about the history behind the flag. and i think many indonesians are still the same as me. not saying this to defend anyone, but i think the lack of awareness might be one of the reasons why some people responded to this matter inappropriately. however, after doing some research, i understand that what he did was absolutely wrong and it frustates me. he's wrong, no excuse. but, just to let you know, some fans have pointed it out immediately after the pic was uploaded. many of us were calling him out, mass dm-ing him and the label, holding him accountable for the matter. it's a relief for us that the label responded quickly. the "thank you" that was mentioned, was not because he apologized, but because he & his label addressed this issue quickly after being called out. bare minimum? yes. but it is something we didn't get to experience from his previous agency. however, i do realize that as someone who's not affected by the history and impact of the symbol, it's not my place to accept the apology. the feelings, anger, and disappoinment are valid. but I deeply hope it's still on the right context and focused on the actual issue. let's best hope he learns from this mistake and that he & upper room team stay true to their commitment to not tolerate racism, hate, and discrimination.
