Instead of addiction treatment on site, residents at Interbay Village have the option to smoke all kinds of drugs including fentanyl. Staff are supposed to be watching for overdoses with Narcan shots nearby. Problem is, LIHI leaders never tout this part of their taxpayer funded operation. Mayor Katie Wilson and other elected officials have pushed for more of these tiny houses to be opened before the FIFA World Cup in June. It was a great cinematic moment, and it created the trope of the “little shark” - used in a lot of horror and suspense movies since then. The authorities find something or someone to blame the killings on and thus stop hunting the real killer so they can hold the boat festival or whatever. A good example is the movie The Relic. There’s a killer monster at the museum. They find a homeless guy living in the basement and shoot him and assume he’s the murderer so they can host the museum gala. Then the monster eats the gala. The big difference in Jaws from the later “little shark” versions is usually the others have the authorities be totally evil. Jaws humanized Mayor Vaughn.

@Kasparov63 You're being hysterical. What about known cases of ballots being discarded by mailmen, ballots torched in ballot boxes. ICE cannot replace poll workers. We've seen poll workers drive out observers in the last two elections. These things don't make your list though.

When mail-in voting is limited or eliminated, then selected polling stations are closed or surrounded with "security checks", when poll workers are replaced by ICE "for security", when ballots are confiscated for "fraud", maybe you’ll take it seriously. Too late.
