@antibearthesis Sure, makes more sense when you have big money uninvested, but I think for the majority of under 30’s, just settng up consistent contributions is more important

@onlinebread_ yes it will matter alot that 10% difference will be hundres of thousands for me personally and for wealthier people it will be millions.

Thought I’d properly introduce myself for everyone I’ve connected with in the past couple of days! I’m 24, from the UK (just north of London). I work in Sales & Marketing, since I was 18, and been self employed since I was 19. I’ve had a bit of a journey with investing. Mainly started with crypto at the beginning when I was younger, DCAing into Bitcoin and Ethereum during the 2022 and 2023 crash primarily. I used to have a decent ISA size, around £64k before pulling funds out to use elsewhere. My main focus now is to put as much into my ISA as possible, both growth and dividends. Would like to ‘retire’ early, through dividends. My portfolio is heavily weighted towards growth as I have enough of a time horizon. I like cars, travelling, spending time with my family, crypto & stocks! From yesterday’s post, thanks all for the recent support. The month of April ends a very solid one. Up almost £15k for the month. A flurry of strong earnings came in which didn’t necessarily equate to the share prices going up. But one particular one $GOOGL absolutely crushed. It happens to be my biggest holding by a long way, so I’m really happy. Amazing to see the community doing well. Long may it continue!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Lovely £11.95 dividend hit the account this week. It’s nice to see considering this position is super small and only started adding to it last month.. can’t wait to get these notifications of a few hundred £! The ETF is $WINC
